To add an IPTV playlist online, you sign in to the Klyvo Play client portal at portail.klyvoplay.com with the two codes your device shows — the MAC Address and the Device Key — then add your Xtream login or M3U link, with an optional TV guide (EPG) link. The app on your TV, phone or box picks up the playlist on its own: nothing to type with a remote. It takes about two minutes from a phone or a computer, and you can do it from anywhere, not just at home. This guide goes through every screen of the portal, the options worth using, and what to do if something does not work.
Klyvo Play is a player. It provides no channel, film or series: the playlist you add online is the one from the service you already have and are authorized to use.
Why add an IPTV playlist online rather than on the TV
- No remote-control typing. A server URL, a username and a long password are far easier to paste on a phone or a computer than to type letter by letter on a TV keyboard.
- Remote set-up. You can add the playlist for a TV that is not in front of you — your parents' living room, a holiday home — as long as you have its two codes.
- Easy changes later. If your service gives you a new address or you want to add a guide link, you change it online and the device follows.
- Your reseller can do it for you. Providers and resellers often add the playlist online themselves using your codes.
Before you start: the two device codes
Open Klyvo Play on the device that will play the playlist. The welcome screen shows its MAC Address and its Device Key; later you find them in the menu under This device. These codes belong to this installation of the app — Klyvo Play never reads your hardware's real MAC address — and the app must have been opened at least once so that they exist. On a phone, long-press a code to copy it. More on what these codes are in IPTV MAC address activation.
Step 1: sign in to the portal with your codes
- On a phone, tablet or computer, go to portail.klyvoplay.com.
- Enter the MAC Address and the Device Key exactly as shown in the app.
- Solve the short captcha, then select Sign in.
There is no account, no email and no password to create: the two codes are your access. If the portal says the address and key do not match, check them again on the app screen; if it says to open the app first, launch Klyvo Play once on the device and try again. The portal is available in English, French and Spanish.
Step 2: add your IPTV playlist online
Select Add a playlist, then choose how to connect:
- Xtream Codes: enter the server URL (with its port, for example :8080), the username and the password your service gave you.
- M3U / M3U8 URL: paste the full link. For Klyvo Play, use the get.php type of link, which contains your username and password — the app reads the same line from it. See Xtream login or M3U link.
Give the playlist a name if you like — “Living room” or “Second line” makes the list easier to read later. Login details are encrypted once saved and never shown again, which is why it is worth keeping your provider's original message somewhere safe.
Step 3: add the TV guide link (EPG)
The form has an optional EPG guide URL (XMLTV) field. It is worth filling in: the Klyvo server then reads that guide and the app shows the real programme for your channels. With an Xtream login, the portal can fill in the server's usual guide link for you once the server, username and password are entered; check it with your provider. With an M3U link, ask your provider for the guide link. After saving, the portal shows whether the guide was read and how many channels it covers. If the guide stays empty for some channels, your provider sends no data for them — see EPG not showing.
Step 4: watch on the device
Back on the TV, phone or box, there is nothing to do. If the app is on its welcome screen, it is already waiting for its playlist and picks it up on its own. If the app is in use, it checks for changes every few minutes and at every launch; reopening it is the quickest way. Your live channels, films, series and guide then appear. To try the app before your playlist is ready, select Explore the demo on the welcome screen.
Managing playlists online afterwards
- Force update: the app reloads the playlist within a few minutes — useful when your service has just added channels or titles.
- Change or remove the EPG link at any time.
- Delete a playlist: it disappears from the device.
- Delete all of this device's data from the portal if you stop using it.
Each device has its own codes, so a second TV needs its own sign-in. Respect the connection limit of your service when you add the same line to several devices — see several devices at home.
Add an IPTV playlist online for someone else
The portal is particularly handy when you look after the TV of a relative who lives elsewhere. Ask them to open Klyvo Play and read you the two codes over the phone, or send you a photo of the welcome screen. Sign in on the portal from your own computer, add the playlist and the guide link, and tell them to leave the app open: the TV picks everything up on its own, and they never touch a keyboard. Later, if their service changes something, you can use Force update without visiting. Make sure the playlist you add is one they are authorized to use, and keep their Device Key private.
If the playlist does not appear
- Check you signed in with the right device's codes — easy to mix up with two TVs.
- Reopen the app on the device and make sure it is online.
- Check the playlist details: a wrong password or an expired line fails the same way online as on the TV. The app shows the line status once connected — see expired line.
- Local addresses are refused: the portal does not accept private network addresses as sources.
FAQ
How long does the playlist take to appear? Usually a few minutes at most. A device on its welcome screen picks it up on its own; on a device already in use, reopening the app is quickest.
Can I add several playlists online for the same device? Yes. Each one appears in the app's list of playlists, and you switch between them in Settings → My playlists.
Can my reseller add the playlist for me? Yes. Give them both codes; they can attach the playlist and the guide link, and the device picks them up on its own.
Is it safe to enter my login on the portal? Login details are encrypted once saved and never displayed again. Keep your Device Key private, as you would a password.
Can I still add a playlist directly in the app? Yes. Settings → My playlists lets you add an Xtream login or an M3U link on the device itself.
Conclusion: add your IPTV playlist online in two minutes
Adding an IPTV playlist online spares you the remote-control keyboard: two codes, one form, and the device does the rest. There is no account to create — the device codes are your access. Add the guide link while you are there, and use Force update whenever your service changes something. Download Klyvo Play on your device, note its codes and try it free for 10 days — every supported screen is on the devices page.
